Rap mogul AKA has used an iTunes chart from yesterday to send a message to his arch rival Cassper Nyovest. AKA’s single Fela In Versace is currently flying on Apple Music and as a result was ranked as the second most streamed song in the Hip-hop/ Rap category yesterday while Cassper Nyovest’s new release Gets Gesta only managed to be 6th on the same category.
Considering Fela in Versace is 3 months old, while Gets Getsa is only 2 weeks old, it is naturally expected for Gets Getsa to be topping charts but that was not the case. AKA used this to make a case for his music on Instagram. He wrote in a post, “After everything that has been released … after all has been said and done … The only way to stay at the top ? is with GREAT MUSIC ? and the strongest fan base in the game. ?? Hype is temporary, class is permanent,”
