Stogie T whose name is Tumi Molekane, flags South Africa worldwide as he was with Sway in New York for an interview. The rap star spoke of his influence in hip hop music and his relationship with other SA rappers. He also went ahead to blow Sway’s mind by spitting some bars which has being the talk on every social media platform.
Stogie’s freestyle line goes like this:
“I am from the continent of poverty and long walk accomplishments. Where fallen heroes give birth to spoilt rotten kids. Where the opulent meet the poor cleaning their offices. We push rocket ships like Elon Musk, charge the whip but still stuck in sh*t because we don’t have a pot to p*ss in.
“God forgives as you give the church half your sh*t. Still we can’t tell a pastor from a pimp…”
However, he announced the news of the interview on social media with this caption;
“Got the opportunity to go on @realsway Universe to represent for my culture, my country, my fallen comrades that BUILT this genre in South Africa and most of all for the future stars that will continue to fly our flag high long after we are gone. This moment is not lost on me. Hip Hop has given me my friends, politics, career and family. I can only hope to give back to what has given me so much. Some of the most prominent rappers I started rapping with have transitioned to the afterlife and others to another life. I hope you’re proud.”

@TumiMolekane now that we have the freestyle reaction out of the way, what an incredible interview bro. You shed some light on a lot of issues without sounding like you’re giving a history class when you actually were. Enjoyed everything about it. #SwayInTheMorning
