American singer Beyonce was in South Africa with her hubby, Jay Z for the Global Citizen Festival and after the event, both celebrity couple, trend on social media for their performance and for Beyonce’s recognition of SA’s fashion designer.
However, it’s heart breaking for many South Africans including celebs like Somizi that after the singer left SA she didn’t post snaps of herself nor videos of her performance on Instagram or on any social media platform.
Meanwhile, Queen Bey performed in India and got her social media accounts flooded with snaps and videos from the event.
Angry Somizi and other South Africans reacts on social media:
“All these people with fame and money, their best clap back is”I’m rich, I’m famous “who cares,Are you famous for us or what, its your money we don’t care, you are not rich for us.”
“So lemme see if I get this, she posted the sa pics on her website where many won’t notice but her Insta where everyone is she doesn’t post. At least we get to see how she feels about certain countries and her fans, she lucky she already rich and famous so our opinions don’t give a fuck no more. Global citizen was not just your regular event, it was celebrating black freedom in SA, you would think that’s important enough to post.”
