Miss SA Tamaryn Green contested for the 2018 Miss Universe beauty pageant and was crowned the first runner up.
Suspense filled the atmosphere as the crown dangles between Tamaryn and the Philippines contestant, Catriona Gray. However, Catriona got the Miss Universe crown from her predecessor, Demi-Leigh Nel Peters.
Tamaryn Green took to social media and tells South Africans how excited she is, making it as the first runner up.
