DJ Speedsta – “Almost hung myself”

DJ Speedsta gave us perspective into his 2018 and it’s quite challenging. Despite he almost hung himself and thought of sucide at some point in his life, he did ended this year on a good note.

The DJ had a great time at the SAHHA 2018 as he won the DJ of the year award.

In a long expository note he shared on Instagram, he said that he started this year with the “I don’t know” mindset and for no reason he hated life and almost committed suicide.

However, the year ends in a awesome way for him as he’s got 2019 planned out already. Speed says he will be dropping his EP titled Bottlebrush on the 11th of January, 2019 and some other singles.

The DJ will also drop his album on his 27th birthday which is 3rd May, 2019.

So, we’ve got our hands crossed as we expect Speedsta have a successful 2019.

Let me give you some perspective. I started 2018 with the “I Don’t Know” 2017 success spill over into the new year. Almost hung myself between Jan 2018 – April 2018, for no particular reason ???‍♂️??‍♂️ I just woke up hating life 3 of 5 days in a week. ?? 1 Tuesday night I went out to Rythm (however you spell that) Tuesday at Sumo by myself ??? …. I literally sat in the kitchen the whole night drinking 1 man, they eventually told me to please go home because I was the last person in the “club” & I hadn’t even made it to the “party side” I just been sitting in the kitchen by myself drinking & laughing with the staff at Sumo. ?❤️ I called the Uber, I smiled, put my phone in my pocket, rubbed my face (prrrrhhhhhhh ????) looked over & said ai ……… it’s time to go home boy !!! Got into the Uber, home, safe, awe !!! Woke up & did EVERY LITTLE THING I SAID I WAS GOING TO DO, STEP BY STEP, IDENTIFIED EVERYTHING I LIKED & everything I DIDN’T LIKE. Broke every little thing down & dealt with whatever it was that I didn’t like (at the time) I’m a 26 year old human, of course I change all the time ??‍♂️ Bit by bit. I’m not perfect, I have my mistakes !!! ??‍♂️ (Everything I said to myself in confidence in the kitchen last night getting lekker alone ???‍♂️??) I for once chose me ….. me, me me, !!! That’s it …. it’s done now, was a good one !! Finished strong ? Happy New Year !!! My “physical year” ended today. “Bottlebrush Street Will NOW BE A EP, NO LONGER A ALBUM. It will be available for pre order on Friday 11 January 2019 together with “Naughty” ft Yung Swiss & the official release date will be the following Friday -25 Jan 2019 with 4 new songs. ALBUM DROPPING FRIDAY 3 MAY 2019 (MY 27th Birthday) “Live your truth” that’s my 2019 phrase ? love you, bye ❤️???
