Bonang Matheba has gotten her social media accounts flooded with congratulatory messages which was triggered as a result of her first produced film.
Queen B co-produced the film, Public Figure which was premiered at the Manchester Film Festival, United Kingdom.
The media personality gushed over this achievement as it’s her first time being a film producer.
However, getting a congratulatory message from the Minister of Art and Culture SA, Nathi Mthethwa, placed her over the moon and put her to tears.
Expressing how she felt after reading the note from the minister, Bonang said:
“…receiving love from home is the greatest kind of affirmation!! ?? Woke up to this, a note from Honorable Minister Nathi Mthethwa, South Africa’s minister of Arts & Culture!!?? Wow. Wow. Wow. (The tears haven’t stopped flowing. I’m genuinely just so overwhelmed! What a special moment for me. To God be the glory. Thank you for your favour.)”
