Singer J Something is excited about the win he just received internationally, as his Jin Gin which was launched last year, 2018, received an international award.
While this great news seem unbelievable to the hearings and eyes of the singer, it is worthy to note that this success was not a day job. He recently revealed on a post in Instagram that building a brand is no joke.
“Building a BRAND is never easy. Requires a lot of capital investment and the obvious risk around “losing” lingers like a sore thumb or worse like a childhood nightmare.”
Back to the international awards, J shared the news saying:
“Nah man this is UNBELIEVABLE… I actually can’t believe im typing this but last night my gin @jinginza won an INTERNATIONAL AWARD!!! A bronze in the premium gin category across the globe!!! So proud right now. #JinGin a proudly South African and Portuguese “Jin” that is deeply rooted in music and food and just so happens to be the flyest gin around! Thank you for ALL the support. If you haven’t gotten your hands on one… well… we an international awarding winning gin now if that will help convince you to head to the store.”
However, these are his thoughts while creating the gin.
“I wanted to create a gin that spoke about my heritage, a gin that was both proudly Portuguese and South African, a gin that was of a supreme quality, and most importantly a gin that was fun and different … so I created a family of “Jin’s” called @jinginza.”
