DJ Fresh pays student R13000 debt

on

It’s good doing good, as Metro Fm DJ Fresh sorted out a students outstanding debt of R13000.

This isn’t the first time a celebrity is doing this, as AKA, Bonang, Cassper and many others have helped out with paying students bills.

Last month, the radio presenter was approached by Omphile on his show, the Fresh Morning Show on Metro FM, saying he couldn’t graduate because he had a large amount of student debt that he owed.

DJ Fresh helped out 27-year-old Omphile Mmekwane pay off his R13000 study debt to ensure that he can receive his a BTEC diploma from the Tshwane University of Technology in Soshanguve.

DJ Fresh made the help possible as he took up the challenge of finding 12 people to make the young mans dream of graduating a reality. Each person donated R1000, paying off Omphile’s outstanding fees.

During an interview with the Daily Sun Team the young man shared how grateful he was to everyone who chipped in and helped him:
“From the bottom of my heart, thank you. I will never forget what Fresh did for me. I’m so grateful.”
