Family Tree hip hop star Nadia Nakai went to Nigeria for a performance over the weekend and was rather left disappointment as she was unknown in the country.
Taking to her social media account, Nadia Nakai claims she was only asked after Nasty C and Cassper Nyovest while in the West African country. She wrote on her Twitter page, “They really love Cassper and Nasty C here! They be like “you from SA!?” You know Nasty and Cassper!? I can’t wait to get on the level where they asking other artists about me! “
She however appealed to Nigerian (African) artistes to work more with their South African counterparts, while giving kudos to Nigerian dancehall sensation Patoranking. “Okay imma say it! Other African artists please feature SA hip hop artists on your songs the way we do with you!!!! So far In my eyes, Pato the only artist featuring our artists on HIS joints….,” she wrote.
