Local singer and former Voice SA coach, Bobby van Jaarsveld shares with fans his last two days experience in ICU for another vocal chord surgery and hernia operation.
The singer shared series of snaps of his look at the Wits Donald Gordon Medical Centre in Parktown, Johannesburg.
“We usually only share the good stuff. But not today. This is how my last two days in ICU have been. Crap, yes. Through all the pipes, catheter, plasters and pain (and to be woken up multiple times at night to have blood drawn and at 04:00 for tea – when I’m not allowed to have tea and can only lick ice – who has tea at 04:00?) I’m thankful that everything went well. I’m not allowed to talk or make a sound for the next 5 days, so I’m just reading. Hernia is fixed and now it’s just the healing process. Thank you for all the prayers. #GoodIsHere #Hernia #Nissen #VocalChordSurgery”
