EFF leader, Julius Malema found himself in hot water after siding with DJ Shimza.
The issue started when a rising star named, DJ Ceega Wa Meropa sought help from Shimza.
“Am asking @Shimza01 to invite me on one of his lockdown shows since the president extended..Also askibg everyone who sees this tweet to RT [sic]”
The famous DJ responded: “You need to stop harassing me, it’s annoying [sic]”.
DJ Ceega reacted to Shimza’s response saying: “Thanks i will [sic]”
However, it appears that Twitter users weren’t pleased with Shimza’s response and he was seriously dragged, after which he apologized.
“Once again guys, I apologize to everyone I have offended. I must always remember to hold myself to a higher standard. Marumo fatse,” Shimza tweeted.
While it appears that the issue was dieing off, Julius Malema trended on Saturday night over siding with DJ Shimza. He said;
“Never be shaken by rubbish young man @Shimza01. You worked very hard to be where you are and can’t be destroyed by those who suffer from self-hate. Apology accepted, now continue playing good music.”
Responding to the critics, Malema tweeted: “You can go to hell”.
