Speaking on Ukhozi FM’s Irvin Sihlope Ezemidlalo sports show, the singer said the family has failed to live by the customs and pay for their damages.
In the African culture when a man impregnates a girl before marriage, he has to pay for damages to the girl’s parents.
“The child isn’t a Meyiwa, she’s Khumalo. And I don’t see the necessity of sitting down and talking with the Meyiwa’s. We aren’t family and will never be,” Kelly explained.
Meanwhile, Kelly Khumalo has been cyber-bullied and criticized since the murder of the former Orlando Pirates goalkeeper, Senzo Meyiwa.
