Limpopo singer, Makhadzi got amazing mention on social media after being specially recognized on one of Africa's biggest music channel, Channel O.
Social media users were in awe that the channel did strictly Makhadzi songs.
Tweeps claim it's the first for Venda artists, hence, Makhadzi breaks record.
However, some tweeps are disappointed at the channel's display of tribalism on SA music artists.
Channel O just did Strictly Makhadzi. A first for a Venda artist. VhaVenda are super proud right now. pic.twitter.com/nD1UmlqBxy

I have no idea why you fighting with me.
You want us to pretend this isn’t the first?
Channel O doesn’t acknowledge Venda artist this much.
Are you seriously telling us not to celebrate Makhadzi’s achievements?
Asking us to entertain Tribalist... why are you this person?— MAKHADZI’S STAN (@Makhadzi_Legion) June 15, 2020
