27-year-old man has been shot dead in Lentegeur, Mitchells Plain on Thursday night.
Western Cape police are still trying to figure out the details behind the attack in the troubled area.
“He was shot and killed last night in Woodlands, in Lentegeur, by an unknown suspect, who is yet to be arrested. He sustained several gunshot wounds to the upper body,” Police spokeperson Andre Traut said.
Police are yet to arrest the suspect in connection to the shooting of the deceased.
A case of murder has been opened for investigation.
