Prince Kaybee, others pay tribute to Mgijimi

The death of Mandla Sindane has caused shock on the faces of most of his fans and social media users.


The Orlando Pirates super fan passed away after experiencing breathing difficulties on Monday evening.

According to a statement by his brother on behalf of the bereaved family, he confirmed that Mgijimi died in his sleep but his body was only found the next day by their father.

However, Mzansi celebrities have taken to their social media handle to share their condolences with the family and the thousands of Pirates fans mourning the loss.

One of the celebrities who expressed sadness is Prince Kaybee.

He took to social media to comment on a post about the Mgijimi’s death.

The house music producer said: “I’m so sad bro. Condolences to the family.”

#CountryDuty founder Tumi Sole said: “RIP Mgijimi. To the family, friends ya Mgijimi, the Orlando Pirates supporters and the rest of the soccer fraternity, condolences.” 

Mbuyiseni Ndlozi and fellow footballer, Brilliant Khuzwayo were also among the other famous faces to share words of comfort to the grieving Orlando Pirates family.

However, Mgijimi had been struggling to breathe.

Sindane was alone at the time of his death and he had allegedly taken a bath before it happened.

Robert Marawa was amongst many to pay tribute to the late super fan on social media.
