SA-born comedian, Trevor Noah feels honoured as The Daily show receives 6 Emmy nominations.
The late-night talk and news satire show was recognised in six categories, including ‘Outstanding Variety Talk Series’ and ‘Outstanding Writing For A Variety Series’.
Trevor was also nominated for his writing on the show.
Despite the outbreak of COVID-19 which affected his show and Live audience, the comedian thrives.
This isn’t the first time his show bagged international awards, as it’s almost an annual thing.
Taking to social media, Trevor captioned post:
“Tired and scruffy but blessed and fulfilled. Truly incredible to see @thedailyshow team nominated for 6 Emmys this year! Is this even real life? Thank you @TelevisionAcad for the honour!”
