Somizi Mhlongo feels excited and proud of his mother, Mary Twala’s win despite she’s passed on.
The late veteran actress worked with Beyonce before she died on the 4th of July, 2020.
The movie, Black Is King will be premiered on the 31st of July, 2020 and Som says he’s a proud son of his mom, as his dream for her came to pass before she departed.
The radio presenter said he’s always told her that she’s the Beyonce or Bonang Matheba of the gogos.
However, Som is glad that his words came to reality as she worked with the American star; Which is her last gig before passing on.
“Talk about ending a 60 year career with a BANG…..that’s my mom for u…….this was her last gig…..funny how I used to joke about how my mom is the beyonce or the bonang of the gogos….and bammmm she ends up working with @beyonce. Super proud son,” he captioned post.
