The prestigious South African Music Awards (SAMA26) which holds annually kicked off on Monday night, August 3rd, 2020.
The awards got Mzansi in the feels, after being controversial about the nomination list released weeks ago.
The event couldn’t allow the coming together of people due to COVID-19, but it went virtual on Mzansi Magic.
The awards has been held for 2 days, and there’s a gradual release of the winners, which will be concluded on the 7th of August.
Ami Faku delivered an emotionally charged and agonizing rendition of “Inde Lendlela”.
The hosts were dressed to impress; actress Dineo Langa channelled her inner goddess in a slinky Miss Boss Couture black gown complete with a gold headpiece while comedian Donovan Goliath looked dapper in a CSquared houndstooth jacket.
