Pearl Thusi has once again be dragged by social media users on issue that should not cause too much argument but no matter how perfect one can be, there would certainly be something people would point out.
Pearl Thusi took to her social media to post a stunning photo of herself.
However, the star went ahead to tag the post quoting a song that dictates brown skin.
The brown skin girl song was made by the popular songstress, Beyonce who revealed that the song is mainly for the dark-skinned females.
Due to this, people felt that the song should not be tagged under the post made by Thusi as she is light skinned and not dark skinned.
The star looks so beautiful in her picture showing off her clean skin but Mzansi did not take it fair on her as they felt the narrative she used in her picture was not meant for her.

samoftheocean said: “Guys when Beyoncé said brown skin, she literally meant all shades of brown skin. I don’t know why y’all are fighting uPearl. Angazi ngoba ‘Yellow bone’ is a made-up term. There’s no such thing.”
LokoBandi said: “Beyoncé was talking about dark-skinned women, it’s evident in the song as well. If it’s not as clear to you, look it up there’s an article where she clarifies everything.”
Black women taking a dig at Pearl Thusi for saying she’s a brown-skinned but glorify Beyoncé for saying the same thing really shows how hypocritical this gender can be. It’s more of denying her blackness. I’m a huge hater of colorism.

Another thing is that Beyhive wants to go at me as if I’m dragging their favs… It was just an example. Her identifying as black automatically qualifies her to be a brownskinned woman. That’s where I’m going with this. Wanting an actual lyrics quote is a big ask 🤦🏽♂️
