Music duo, Blaq Diamond has taken to their social media to announce their latest victory as they bag Record Of The Year award at the final episode of the 26th edition of the South African Music Awards.
The duo won the award through votes by the public and their fans.
They closed the 5-day ceremony by winning the award for the category with their hit ‘Ibhanoyi’
They were nominated along side Prince Kaybee, Ndabo Zulu, Benjamin Dube who dominated the SAMA’s winning three awards each.

The SAMAs award has been a tough one this year due to the ups and downs but those who deserve the award are being given already.
However, Prince Kaybee took home three big prizes including the Album of the Year, Male Artist of the Year and Best Dance Album for Re Mmino.

Ndabo Zulu & Umgidi Ensemble on the Duo/Group of the Year ,Newcomer of the Year and Best Jazz Album.
Legendary Gospel musician, Bishop Benjamin Dube took home three awards for Best Live Audio Visual, Best Contemporary Faith Album and the highly celebrated Lifetime Achievement Award.
