After nearly five months, the fitness industry is raring to resume, but South Africa’s largest health group – Virgin Active will not be re-opening on Tuesday.
Under lockdown level-two regulations, gyms and fitness centres have been allowed to reopen.
However, Virgin Active said it is ready to safe training environments, but will not re-open on Tuesday.
The group, which has been opened in other countries, said it will be making use of the international experience to implement best practices in screening, hygiene, and social distancing.
Members who are not ready to return to gym yet should not worry.
Virgin Active also said it will continue to freeze memberships at no cost.
