South Africa’s largest gym – Virgin Active have declared it will adjust to government’s regulation that says “not more than 50-person capacity.”
It further declared that it is ready to continue operations again on Monday.
“During the last 5 months, we have really prepared our gyms.”
“We have spaced our equipment and put in all the cleaning and hygiene protocols,” said Virgin Active’s chief marketing and technology officer, Nikki Cockcroft.
Gyms and fitness centres have been given the permission to reopen under Level 2 lockdown.
