South Africa’s Minister of Social Development, Lindiwe Zulu has decided to share her view on those stating Master KG and Nomcebo may turn out to be one-hit wonder.
Recall, Master KG’s ‘Jerusalama’ has been making waves since its release and many of his fans feel it is the best song so far.
Lindiwe however made it clear that all the duo needs is support instead of dishing out negative comments.
She made this statement after people mentioned that Jerusalema might be his only hit song and others might be ‘trash’.
Lindiwe who is not happy with the negativity from the song, took to her Instagram to share her view and also telling the duo to think of a follow up song that would beat that of “Jerusalema.”
“The negative rearing its ugly head. Let’s bask in the glory and worry about the future, yes, but please get out of here with negative vibes!”
“Give them the chance and support! Viva Master KG and Nomcebo, viva! Viva all SA creatives, viva!”
According to Master KG, his Jerusalema song reminds him of Marcarena due to the impact his song has made in the life of so many people.
“It reminds me of the song called Macarena in the 90s when I was still young. Now it is happening to my song and it’s a blessing indeed,” he said.
Master KG shared how grateful he is to see his song make positive impacts in the life of a lot of people.
“It’s so beautiful to see how Jerusalema has taken over the world, to see how far it has gone. The song did amazing at home, in December 2019 charting on each and every radio station. It ruled the streets and people created memories to the song.”
