Katy Perry and husband, Orlando Bloom welcome baby girl

American Singer, Katy Perry and husband, Orlando Bloom took to Instagram to announce the arrival of her baby.


Although, UNICEF also made the announcement due to the fact that the duo are both their ambassadors, they still went ahead to express how happy they are with the arrival of the baby.

They revealed that they have welcomed their first child, a girl,  Daisy Dove.

The couple said they were “floating with love and wonder after their daughter’s safe and healthy arrival”.

“Welcome to the world, Daisy Dove Bloom! We are honoured to introduce Goodwill Ambassadors @KatyPerry and @OrlandoBloom’s new bundle of joy,” the post said.

They said: “We are floating with love and wonder from the safe and healthy arrival of our daughter.”

In the Instagram post, the couple also spoke about how fortunate they were to have had a “peaceful” birthing experience with good healthcare something, they said, many families do not experience.

They are also happy that even with the pandemic, things still went on smoothly.
