DJ Fresh took to social media to reveal to his followers one of the craziest thing he has done when he was younger.
According to him, he had to cross the border just to be be able to catch DJ Christo play at Club Gemini during apartheid.
This is coming after a tweep asked who his favorite DJ is and how far he has gone to see them play.
“Who is your favourite DJ and how far did you travel to see them play?”
Recounting to this, he revealed he was 19/20 years of age, had no drivers license but took his father’s Mercedes to “to go study on a Sunday night”.
No one knew the DJ Fresh’s plan not even his father.
Instead of going to study, the 47-year-old star took turning and headed to the border to cross just to watch DJ Christos “bury Club Gemini”.
“19/20 years old! No drivers license …. took pop’s Merc (“to go study on a Sunday night”), crossed border to catch @DjChristosSA bury Club Gemini!! Was well worth driving through apartheid SA with no license!!!”
However, he said he never regret going there as it was well worth driving through apartheid SA with no license.
