David Makhura, Gauteng Premier is calling for those involved in corruption in the province to be put behind bars.
Apparently, since the outbreak of coronavirus, Makhura’s government have been facing corruption allegations involving COVID-19 funds.
These allegations led to Bandile Masuku, Health MEC to undergo a leave of absence until investigations are rounded up.
“We want people who are public officials. Those who are in business must be held accountable. This doesn’t seem like something that just happened. It’s like there was a proper plan designed to ensure that rules are not followed,” he said.
Makhura also mentioned that “corruption has no colour.”
