South African radio presenter, Penny Lebyane wants justice as she pleaded with the courts to put her ex lover, DJ Fresh behind bars.
This is coming after the Penny called out DJ Fresh who has been her boyfriend for 18 years over rape.
On hearing this, DJ Fresh took necessary steps in order to clear his name from the allegation by mentioning Penny’s name.
However, the media personality could not let this slide as she stated he should be charged for rape and arrested for perjury.
DJ Fresh also made it clear that the relationship between them ended because Penny was being toxic.
According to OkMzansi, Penny filed notice of motion papers on August 6 as her ex lover DJ Fresh had made claims against her.
Last month Penny had requested the DJ to provide proof that she was the original author of the damning tweets accusing him of rape. These were further shared by activist and poet Ntsiki Mazwai.
“My lawyers have served Mr Sikwane’s lawyers with a letter requesting proof that I am the originator of the post that Miss Ntsiki Mazwai is being taken to court based on and where and when was a restraining order served to me 19 years ago.
“We sent the letter of request to DJ Fresh’s team and we gave them a deadline for them to respond. They responded and are requesting an extension. I am declining this on the grounds that they filled this affidavit a while back and they are aware that this matter would appear (before a judge). I was ambushed by a newspaper with a violent headline which sent shock waves though my family,” she said.
