Eskom has announced its suspension of load-shedding for Wednesday.
Earlier, the power utility initially said it would begin implementation of Stage 1 load-shedding from 4pm to 10pm.
Eskom is proud to say its generation supply has greatly improved.
The power utility made a full statement and said Thursday’s update will be supplied subsequently.
“Eskom will continue to communicate timeously should there be any changes as the system remains unreliable and vulnerable.”
“Unplanned breakdowns amount to 9424MW of capacity, adding to the 5,246MW currently out on planned maintenance.”
“Eskom teams are working around the clock to return as many of these generation units to service as possible,” Eskom said in a statement.
However, Eskom has beckoned on South Africans to make use of electricity sparingly.
#Loadshedding #Update There will be no loadshedding for this evening as the generation supply situation has significantly improved. A full statement with tomorrow’s update will be issued later today.
