A 20-year-old Limpopo student who was reported missing on 29 August has been found dead.
The police said the deceased lady, Kgaogelo Shai from Mulalani village in Sekororo was last seen in Mokgoloboto village.
According to Police spokesperson, Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe, earlier disclosed in a statement that the missing student was last seen with “her new boyfriend”, Ronny Kgatla.
However, Kgatla was found dead on August 31.
On Tuesday the police disclosed that Shai’s partially decomposed body was found on Monday.
Her body was found in a dry stream in Mulalani village.
Before her death, Shai was a student at Letaba TVET college in Tzaneen.
She rented her apartment in Mokgoloboto village.
It was reported that Kgatla, Shai’s boyfriend was a convict.
He was out on parole after serving 10 years for the murder of his former girlfriend.
Shai’s family is deeply saddened by the turnout of this tragic discovery.
Shai’s sister, Pelma, said: “She is a good child, who is very talkative and always smiling. She has never held grudges against anyone or gets angry easily.”
