Another cash in transit suspect have been arrested.
But this time around, the ATM guards are the CIT suspects.
The Hawks Serious Organised Crime investigation team in Cape Town disclosed that two security guards have been arrested on the charge of theft.
The security guards aged 24 and 37 were linked to the CIT robbery.
Hawks raided the workplace of the first suspects in Milnerton on Tuesday.
The officials seized an undisclosed amount of cash, which was allegedly found “concealed on his bullet proof in an armoured vehicle that he was driving”.
The two security guards have been charged to court.
They will appear at Bellville magistrate’s court on September 17.
