Omuhle Gela on pressure to get her body back in shape

Omuhle Gela have joined the group of women who are not subscribing new mothers forcing to get their body back.


The star who recently welcomes a bouncing baby girl few days ago revealed that she did nothing for her weight loss after giving birth.

However, Omuhle is not the only new mother to come out on this issue as Zenande Mfenyana revealed she would not be forcing her body to subscribe to the pop culture norm of new mothers trying to get their body back in shape after giving birth.

Omuhle recently got real with fans on IG about life after pregnancy, saying she is more concerned about her health than looks.

The star also cleared the air, saying that she lost weight naturally and hasn’t been dieting.

She said: “I’ve been focused on fully healing and I refuse to succumb to the pressure of snapping back at the expense of my health. My focus now is my well-being, and my daughter’s”.

“So to answer your questions mommies, no I’m not on a diet. The weight I dropped just happened on its own. I’m kind of letting my body do its own thing at its own pace. but I definitely need to begin working out soon.”

Omuhle is very happy to be a mother as she reveals that motherhood is the best gift to ever have.

“To the love of my life, just wanted to let you know that the strength you’ve given me is beyond me. I’ve watched myself transform into the woman I’ve always prayed to be for my future children. I will forever thank God for trusting me with his precious creation and thinking I am capable and good enough to mother you,” said Omuhle.
