Master KG and Nomcebo Zikode’s Jerusalema will be stepping into another milestone as it will soon be made into a dance film.

This is coming after the announcement President Ramaphosa made urging the nation to join the “Jerusalema” challenge on Heritage Day.

The Heritage day is on 24 September, 2020 and the film will be shot on that same day.

Since the release of the song, it has been making waves around the world as it sparked a global dance craze amid the Covid-19 pandemic and the film will be centered around the success of the global dance phenomenon

Mzansi actors and film crews have reportedly united to produce the ‘Jerusalema’ dance film.

During this public holiday, South Africans are encouraged to celebrate their culture and the diversity of their beliefs and traditions.

Variety reports that the film will be shot over two days on a custom-built set at Cape Town Film Studios.

It will consist of two elements: a scripted narrative and a mass dance sequence. In the latter, performers will dance to Jerusalema.

However, they are really looking forward to that day so they can show off their dancing skills.
