The Department of Health has recorded 77 more COVID-19 related deaths in South Africa, which takes the death toll to 16,283.
Gauteng takes a larger percentage of the new COVID-19 deaths. The Department if Health has reported more than 1,800 new infections in the past 24 hours.
However, the recovery rate now stands at 89.3%.
