on

This comes after Mango refused to pay to South African Airways (SAA) for its services, which led to suspension of its services

On Monday, low-cost carrier Mango said it would make use of leased aircraft so as to keep on with operations after South African Airways (SAA) Technical decided to suspend its services due to non-payment.

Mango were unable to pay SAA subsidiary for keeping its fleet maintained.

Spokesperson Benediction Zubane said they were in talks with SAA Technical and are hoping to come into agreement soon.

As part of the contingencies, Mango will continue operating under third-party aircraft lease arrangements including operating [our] own aircraft to fly our passengers until further notice.”

We ask for patience and understanding as you navigate through this difficult time,” Zubane said.
