South African media personality, Somizi is in hot soup following the tweet he made which brought back the memory of the drama surrounding his cooking show.
Recall, Somizi was recently accused of stealing the concept of his show, “Dinner At Somizi”.
In his recent tweet, he announced his partnership with DSTV by calling upon his fans to share their suggestions on who they would like to see on the show.
Somizi tweeted: “Hey fam….to all my #dinneratsomizis fans I have some gr8 news 4u… I’m helping @DStv giveaway some cool prizes. All u need to do is tweet who u would like to see as a guest on my show #dinneratsomizis and include #tooeasy to stand a chance to win. I’ll announce winners on Sunday.”
This triggered the anger of the tweeps as they decide to bring up the drama with many suggesting that he calls upon the man who accused him of stealing his idea, Hastings Moeng.
The tweet he made makes him to start trending on Twitter once again reminding everyone of the accusations made against him.
Regarding the issue, Somizi claimed he did not get any mail from Hastings Moeng after the man claimed he sent a mail to the star.
According to a tweet, “On 28 July 2014, Hastings Moeng proposed Dinner At Somizi’s to Somizi & Themba. The description of the show is materially similar to the one now flighted (to the shock of Mr Moeng). See the 2014 email below and decide for yourself.”
I personally would like for you to invite the person who accused you of stealing this idea, y’all sit down. Talk about it and iron things out #DinnerAtSomizis and #tooeasy who knows maybe she/he will get the closure and answers they need and you might clear your name.
