Two arrested in connection to R255 million Free State asbestos project

Following the investigation into the R255 million Free State asbestos project tender in Centurion, two people have been apprehended.

The Hawks and the Special Investigating Unit (SIU) arrested two suspects in connection to the R255 million Asbestos project tender in Centurion.


According to Hawks spokesperson Hangwani Mulaudzi, other suspects were being arrested in the Free State and KwaZulu-Natal.

The arrest of more suspects can not be ruled out as the security body and the SIU said they are on their way to pick more suspects in Gauteng.
