In the early hours of Wednesday, a large fire broke out at a compost plant in Diepsloot, Johannesburg/
According to Johannesburg EMS spokesperson Robert Mulaudzi, the unexpected fire broke out at the agricultural holdings at about 6am.
He however stated that “the fire is under control. No injuries have been reported.”
Mulaudzi added that the circumstances surrounding the cause of the blaze would be investigated.
Motorist are however advised to make use of alternative routes as Summit Road west, going towards the R511, has been closed off to traffic.
