DJ Maphorisa publicly bragged about how he makes artists into real stars.
Since the year kicked off, Lawd Phori has always spoken about owning his masters and how he’s made the likes of Kabza De Small own their masters despite working together.
In making artists stars, then you must know a lot about the industry, including the strategic moves in making an artist a star.
Few months ago, Phori spoke about the amount of years it tool him to know all about South African music industry.
“It took me 10years to really crack da SA music industry i know it in n out. all i do now,” he revealed.
It is believed that Maphorisa has made 10 artists stars, and they are; Shasha, Mlindo the Vocalist, Zingah, Mas Musiq, Tyler ICU, Daliwonga, Bontle Smith, Mawhoo, Lucasraps, Myztro Musiq.
The DJ has all these artists signed under his Blaqboy record label.
Taking to Twitter on Thursday, he confidently said: “I make artists to become real stars.”
