Forty more people have succumbed to the coronavirus in South Africa, which brings the total number of fatalities to 17,016.
As at Monday, the Department of Health recorded 926 new infections, which takes the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 682,215.
The recovery rate is still standing at 90% which translates that about 615,684 people have recovered so far.
