Nkele Molapo who accused Democratic Alliance (DA) Gauteng interim leader, Solly Msimanga, of sexual harassment claimed that there were more victims molested by Msimanga.

On Wednesday, she made it known that ever since she came out to expose Msimanga, more women who had been in similar situation with the leader approached her.

Molapo narrated the incident.

She said Msimanga offered her a lift after a debate in Pretoria.

He allegedly began to harass her in his car outside her house and blocked her from leaving his car.

He told her “I want you”, and he started touching her inappropriately even after she told him no.

She claimed that more women molested by him wanted to come forward, but fear stopped them.

“I’ve got our fellow colleagues in the party, people who are working in the party but I can’t mention their names.”

“I hope they will gather enough strength to come and speak for themselves, and then maybe they won’t be subjected to having to answer why now,” Molapo said.

“They are saying to me, ‘you are doing this for all of us. We’ve been there Nkele, we know what you’re talking about.’ I’m just praying that they gather enough strength,” she added.

However, accused Msimanga denied the claims.

He even went to the extent of saying that he would take a lie detection test to prove his innocence.

He opened a case of crimen injuria against Molapo.

“I will be contacting my lawyer and I’m hoping that she is ready to provide those names,” he said.
