Nandi Madida is not taking chances as she has taken legal action against artist manager and publicist Thamsanqa “Amaru Da Costa” Fakazi.
This is following after Nandi revealed Amaru allegedly has outstanding fee to pay her for a Lux gig she did in 2018.
According to report, Amaru allegedly owe Nandi more than R800,000 stating he collected the total amount for the ambassador deal on her behalf from Unilever.
Nandi said: “I can confirm summons have been sent out this week from my legal team to an agent who worked on the Lux campaign for Unilever Thamsanqa ‘Amaru Da Costa’ Fakazi. He has been issued with summons due to outstanding money he has not paid me from the Lux endorsement, as their ambassador.”
Nandi also stated that Amaru was never her manager and she is not ready to divulge further details.
“He is not my manager and has never been my manager as the headline suggests… He has been issued with a summons due to outstanding money he has not paid me from my LUX endorsement, as their ambassador, ” she said in the statement.
