JR stands on solidarity with Nigeria, after it’s gone global that the nation is going through tough time.
Peaceful protesters in Lagos, Nigeria are gunned down by the country’s army, and videos of the incident has gone viral on social media.
Taking to Twitter, JR who is a South African star, called out other artists who benefit off Nigerian’s culture.
He said any SA artists who refuses to support Nigerian during this period is a disappointment.
“All these South African artists who have benefitted and continue to benefit off Nigerian culture but have not shown to stand in solidarity with the people of Nigeria during this tough time are a disappointment!”

What’s happening in Nigeria is so bad in so many ways. My heart goes out to them as our brother and sister nation. I wish there’s something our country can do to help!! 💔 #EndSARS
