On Monday, former Democratic Alliance (DA) member Nkele Molapo disclosed that she will approach the court in order to review the party’s decision to revoke her membership.
DA’s federal legal council and appeals processes found Molapo guilty of leaking Tshwane secret party’s information to Economic Freedom Fighters leader, Julius Malema.
Recently, she accused interim Gauteng leader Solly Msimanga of harassing her sexually in 2016.
However, Msimanga denied the allegations.
According to Molapo, the internal disciplinary hearing panel made an irrational, biased and unfair ruling against her.
“Approaching the court is a natural step now after subjecting myself to all internal processes.”
“I believe that the first panel erred in their findings.”
Meanwhile, the outgoing Gauteng chair Mike Moriarty insists that the process was fair.
