South African musician, Dr Tumi has reportedly been labelled a homophobe and he is not having it with trolls.
Rumours about him being sexually attracted to the same sex has been all over social media and it is something which did not speak well of him.
Dr Tumi, however, made a video which he shared on Twitter to clarify things.
According to him, he came out of his video shoot stating he had seen some comments earlier in the day and he felt its really unfair to write things like that just to tarnish someone’s image.
“There’s something that has been bothering me and I thought I should take some time out and address because it’s just a misconception and a lie that I feel should not go on … I don’t want people to have the wrong impression… Right from the onset I just want you to know that I am not homophobic. I truly have no reason to hate anyone, I don’t hate or discriminate against anyone…”
According to him, he knows those who are behind the rumours and he made it clear they know the truth about his stance on homosexuality and that was enough for him.
“And I know that that lie was based on something that was not even true and actually the people who were involved in that know the real truth and they don’t have an issue (with me). I was so saddened by it, seeing a few comments about it today because I don’t like discrimination or when people are treated badly…”.
Dr Tumi concluded that as a man of Go, he is definitely following and doing what is right and he has respect and love for every person despite their love race or sexual orientation that everyone should understand that about him.
