Cyril Ramaphosa is expected to address the nation this Thursday night after a surge in COVID-19 cases got reported.
The latest number of cases announced is the highest in recent weeks, as it was revealed that over 4,000 cases were recorded in the past 24 hours.
Few weeks ago, the President had a family meeting as usual and urged citizens to be careful during the festive period, in other to avoid returning to another strict lockdown level.
However, with the situation of things, the country might experience another harsh preventive measure as there’s been a surge.
SA is the 16th most-affected country globally.
