Nigerian Singers, Omah Lay and Tems imprisoned following the adjournment of their court case

Popular Nigerian singers, Omah Lay and Tems are being sent to prison.


The two were charged to court following their arrest for flouting Covid-19 rules in Uganda.

The fast-rising stars were arrested together with their managers on 13th December, 2020 for holding a concert at the Ddungu resort in Munyonyo.

According to the Covid-19 guideline, it has been stated that no show or concert should be conducted but instead, the stars turned everything around.

Initially, the show was registered to be a lunch and dinner event but turned everything into a concert with large crowd in attendance.

Now, it has been reported that the court case against them has been adjourned and the two taken to different prisons in Uganda.

According to a Ugandan Twitter Influencer, the court has adjourned the case till the 16th of December and Omah lay is to be imprisoned at Kitalya prison while Tems would be at Kigo prison.

“Finally @temsbaby @Omah_Lay are take to Kitalya prison and Tems is taken to Kigo prison, Omah Lay is taken to kitalya prison until 16 Dec2020 and the event orginisers /Promoters and they will have to appear to High Court on Wednesday”
