AKA’s Cuba Lounge BLK closes due to surge in COVID-19

AKA announces that his newly launched club, Cuba Lounge BLK has shut down till 2021, due to surge in COVID-19.


Since the numbers of new cases increased, the South African government warned her citizens as regards gathering and obeying the safety measures, as the total number of recorded cases is now a million.

Taking to social media, the Lounge put out an official statement.

“Due to COVID cases rising in Durban, we’ve taken the decision to put your health first and close CUBA BLK till the first of January.”

An apology was sent to everyone who has made the place a success.

“Safety First. See you in 2021,” the rapper captioned post.
