Beyoncé’s charity to donate over R7 million to people with evictions during the pandemic

Beyonce announces her plan to donate over R7 million in Covid-19 grants for people who are facing eviction in the US.


The star made this known on her website as she urged people to start applying from January 7.

Taking this step is a big one for her fans and followers as many of them took to the comment section to send praises to her.

Beyonce is all about lending an helping hands to people during next year Covid-19 pandemic.

Approximately 9.2 million people have lost their income due to job cuts during the pandemic and have fallen behind on rent.

A number of these renters are going to be expected to pay back their rent in full as soon as moratoriums are lifted.

The statement reads: “Beyoncé is giving $5k grants to individuals and families facing foreclosures or evictions. All necessary documentation must be provided to the NAACP. Online Application process opens January 7, 2021, where 100 recipients will be selected and grants disbursed in late January. Round 2 will open in February.”
