Donald has some people hit him on Thursday with claims that he isn’t relevant again in the South African music industry.
In justifying himself, the singer says he isn’t like other artists, as he is a legend in making.
Donald further had a breakdown of his years in the industry and the hits he’s released so far.
“I knew very early in my career that I would be different from other artists, the way I move is very different. Most don’t get it in the beginning but they eventually respect it,” he said.
When a tweep said his career ended in the early 2000s, he reacted by saying: “My career only started in 2005, 2009 as a solo artist, only dropped my 1st No.1 in 2012 and my last No.1 was in 2018, my last Top 5 record was in 2019, so which Donald are you referring to?”
“It doesn’t matter how long it takes, as long as it gets there brother, I’m not like other artists, don’t compare me, dont make that mistake. I’m a Legend in the making, You will never forget me, Ever!!” the singer responded to another tweep.
