Actress and media personality, Candice Modiselle has called out makeup artists who can’t work with brown skin.
Taking to her Twitter, the star expresses how she feels about this issue.
It all started after a tweep shared heartbreaking stories from black actresses in the US.
According to the story, it was stated that most black hairstylists are passed up for opportunities even when the industry has a need for them.
And you know what’s even worse…… the black hairstylists that ARE in the door refuse to put anybody else on or are highly selective on who they bring on to assist because they’re scared they’ll be outshined.

Reacting to this, Candice mentioned it is the same for make-up artists.
The star slammed make-up gurus who were considered global leaders in the beauty world but lacked knowledge working with people of colour.
Candice also mentioned that same people are always given the jobs over and over again and are not giving others the opportunity.
“The pool of talent knows no bounds, but guess who is bagging the major gigs, yet they have no idea what to do when a person of colour is sitting in their chair. Blush, a smoky eye and red lip is not a one-size-fits-all look, Susan,” wrote Candice.
